My sister is in the middle of playing Thracia 776 (Fire Emblem 5), and although I was already somewhat familiar with that FE game from reading all the character descs and bits of script and playing the first few chapters, now I'm really getting to know it. (I myself am currently playing the Monshou no Nazu starring MARTH, just started Book 2 and I wish I could find dialogue translations instead of summaries.)
This is just cuz' I've been really wanting to draw Eyvel. Which is funny because just before I had the strongest urge to draw Brigid.
This would make a pretty kickass wallpaper, too bad the center of the Venn Diagram of A) people who'll see this B) people who've played Thracia 776 and C) people who'd actually want this as a wallpaper is probably miniscule. And my desktop currently displays "YOU SAVED CRIMEA AND ARE A REAL HERO!" and that's not getting changed anytime soon. XD
She is really cool, but she is Jeigan... >_<
Anyway, i love this, fave'd!

Yeah, it's an anime, came out a couple years ago. I caught maybe ten or fifteen episodes but I've lost track. I loved the style - protagonists were skinny and wiry-looking, implying skill and speed instead of strength; some visual effects were really original. And the story style was great; it sold itself as hip-hop which one could sort of see, sometimes; protagonists were nuts and dirt-poor and hated each other; the flow from one episode to the next was a bit more loose and disjointed and, well, episodic for my taste but it wasn't too bad. Maybe worth your time.
Monkey Island one and two are the peaks. Works of art and you brought tears to my eyes just by the thought of them. Three was alright just on momentum but four was not. I can see the relation there - I think this lady would have Guybrush's pompadour quicker than you can say You fight like a cow, though.
Eh usually I don't get into shows that don't have a main theme. When a show is "epesodic", as you put it, the characters tend to lack any sort of way to explain their personalities, history, dreams etc.
And agreed. Although if you look at CMI (#3) from the standpoint of how it was made you can see how it seriously is a work of art in and of its self. Honestly... the art is amazing, animations fluid, voices perfect and jokes hillarious. MI-2 is probably the best... but CMI is probably my favorite.
Wow. I love your style and the way she pops out from the background. (Not to mention Eyvel's one of my favorite characters from one of my favorite videogames.)
By the way, are you aware of the connection between Eyvel and Brigid yet?
