Petrine and Enaby ~omgdragonfly

I've been looking forward to doing these two for a long time. Unfortunately I had to constantly redo and shift and resize that I'm not up to including a comic. Plus it was difficult to think of something non-Ike-Merck-spoilery. I thought Petrine would be easy since it was just red + black + cleavage (she has to show off her brand), and I already had a solid design in mind, but then Noooooo. I was halfway through coloring it when I had to go back and edit her some more.

I hope you all have played Path of Radiance. Because you know, Ena. Spoiler stuff.

One must wonder why the Tellius government is hiring prosecutors who are so obviously evil. And wearing full suits of armour. Who knows. Petrine is of course a high-ranking member of the Daein mafia who uses her powers of district attorney for their benefit. She is also a serial arsonist, getting rid of evidence and witnesses with the aid of gasoline and her trusty Zippo. A Zippo whose design I forgot to include. It is a crow carrying a skull, because I always felt Petrine was part crow. Everyone always has the crow just sitting on a skull, but it's just so much more audacious of the crow to just steal it. Oh ho ho, Petrine is just so underhanded you can expect her to be pulling all sorts of illegal things to get her way.

Ena is Petrine's personal assistant. She came to Ashnard because DRAGONS ARE PRATS WHO DON'T JUST CALL THE POLICE. And Ashnard gave her to Petrine, and of course Petrine's at first just >:O "I don't need a personal assistant what insult is this!" And then Ena really helps her kick ass in court without evidence tampering and coercing witnesses (not that that's going to stop Petrine from doing it anyway). And she uses a clipboard. I guess she's never heard of a palm pilot. Actually, all the dragons are probably luddites. And Ena's organized enough without one, she says. Ena falsely hopes she'll get to see 'him' if she works for Ashnard.

I want both Ena's shirt and Petrine's corset. I think I have a very weird taste in clothing.

ANYWAY! I like the take on their 'modern'(ish?) clothing. And Ena in glasses ROCKS.

Petrine has a sort of Shego-ish vibe to her...

Hm, that'd be interesting Kim Possible/Fire Emblem fan-art...

Heh, I always figured Petrine for part raven as well. It fits her personality well. Though I wonder how the city lets her get away with showing off her brand like that.

Once gain, I must bang my cup in agreement in the universe that these two are comedic gold together.

Man oh man oh man. In no way can Petrine's attire be professional, but it's freakin' smexy-awesome. The black/red combo is one of my favorite color combos, and it looks quite awesome, especially with her corset of death. When the image was minimized, I thought her earings were hearts, so I was all "OOH IRONY", but not so I guess.

And Ena too! Those pants look so comfy! Ah ha, I laugh at the technologically dissadvantaged dragons. I can see them all as being members of some very fussy old family/bloodline/credo. And the shiney glasses are a nice touch-subtley sinister.
