Mapinguari

A monster of lore that lives in the Amazon rainforest. Apparently some cryptozoologists have jumped on it as being proof that giant ground sloths live today (or even smaller circles that call BIGFOOT...), while ignoring some of the awesome variations, such that is has scales, or backwards feet, or a mouth on his stomach. I wish I didn't just grab that from Wikipedia, but it's hard finding good sources on obscure beasties amidst a bunch of cyptid and LOST sites.

Green-Haired Magical Girl was originally an excuse for me to draw a bunch of monsters, before it got foe yay all over it.
